Arrangements and Workshops
In the 20 years that we have existed and were one of the first in Hungary in this area, we have thought of and developed many fun arrangements and workshops for our guests! Of course, we started with the real Hungarian Kettle Cooking. But in the meantime we have thought of many more fun things to introduce everyone to the real Hungarian village life:
ACTIVE AND NATURE: Miklósi is located in the middle of 'Naturpark Koppányvölgy' and is an ideal base for beautiful nature excursions! Wonderful walking and cycling/mountain biking (also with a guide), wildlife and bird watching with Erik, son of a forest ranger. A quad tour over the vineyards near Som is also possible. People who like to actively help in the vineyard (workshop pruning grapes for example) and of course picking grapes and making wine, can indulge themselves.
CULINARY AND CREATIVE WORKSHOPS: Making jam, syrup and liqueur, painting wine jugs, birdhouses or goose eggs or baking pizza and bread in our authentic clay pizza oven; it's all possible!
New this year is the DRY SAUSAGE MAKING WORKSHOP!
FUN FOR CHILDREN: Of course, children can join in the creative workshops and bake their own pizza or bread during our PIZZA NIGHT. But they can also gather wood for the campfires, build huts and enjoy reading under our Fairy Tale Tree.
BOURGONDIAN LA PETITE ÉTOILE:Since 2005 we offer our guests the opportunity to get to know Miklósi as a wine village and we organize wine tastings and our guests can have Hungarian bacon roast. We also do this at our unique WINE HOUSES!Of course we cook Hungarian style every week; KETTLE COOKING!Since we have our own artisanal winery Pillangó (Butterfly) and the beautiful wine houses Pipacs (Poppy) and Levendula (Lavender) we also go there with our guests to cook on location and taste wine when they are not rented out.
